Another tales of woe at my place of work....

Where my shop is, is a row/block of shops/flats above, and you can drive around the whole block going round the back. Now on one of the entrances going round to the back, the owners of the building that makes up the other wall for the entrance has decided to install an Air-con system in the last week, and it has since been discovered that they have no had planning permission to install such a device, and it sticks out like a biatch!

Now I have a refuse contract with the local council to remove my rubbish and waste every Monday, and no surprises here that it wasn't taken away today, along with the neighbours rubbish, it's all been left there!! The problem is the dump truck can no longer get through the entrance(they could only get in and out from one side only), so my call to the council has meant I may have to drag these wheely bins over 150 yards, down a slope to the exit of the entrance for them to collect the rubbish! What a PITA!!

But here's the funny bit, I went outside to have a look at the new air con thing, and something(most probably the dump truck) has whacked it hard, it looks pretty broke to me lol.

I've just been informed that the aircon unit was hit again last night by the local spud man, he drove into the entrance in the evening, and could not see it apparently. lol

I have got the local councillor and planning permission involved now, lets see how long it takes to get it removed....

At the top of my road, this woman puts massive stones out on 'her' grass to stop people driving on it. Well, it's a private road, that she doesn't live on, so simply put, it's not her grass at all.

Every few months, I go up at 3 AM and steal the stones. Then dump them somewhere out of the way. Then I nip back up and leave little piles of sand in their place.

She must know it's me, and I must have done it 10 times at least - but she never learns.

People are nobs.

Funny you said that Nige. At the time of taking the pic, I was stood by it along with the local Councillor and another resident. The Councillor had called the landlord up to come have a look, he duly turned up sitting in his car, saw us standing there, looked up to see his aircon hanging, then drove off! lol

I'm not sure mate, I think he has planning permission on his back, as I made a complaint to them already, and got the letter through on Wednesday. Apparently, he's in breach of a few things, this is just one of them, I don't know anymore...
