was taken on the way to ADI on Saturday I'll have some better photos at the end of the month
Yeah get some lamin-x but only the tint not smoked like my rear. I like Rye with the Black facelift S3 with the BBS CH on was thinking about it. Ask some one to photoshop it on your car. There a thread regarding lamin-x and photoshopping going on now.
Just some random photos from ADI to present date.
Some of you were already aware i had S3 foglights bought them from my local dealer Cardiff Audi. They went back after two days as they were A3 ones.
So thought best thing to do is by from Stoke Audi (Dave), agreed for collection @ ADI Saturday 9th October. So collected them thought id do a quick test fit as i couldnt wait to get them in and see how they looked. Well lets just say i was a bit unhappy....
I had two passenger side foglights. So took them back to Dave, he apologised and said he will me the correct drive side an sent it 1st class at no cost etc etc.
Anyway 10days later an they were delivered. Still need to fit my lamin-x to the foglights and a few other bits.
Was a really good day @ ADI good turn out for ASN. But thought we had a sh*tty club stand but other than that a good day and alot of beautiful cars.
As always all comments welcome.

Is your car a 54?! I'd have never imagined... like the look, tho not the biggest fan of S3 bodykits on non-S3s

Yes sub she an old girl haha! Cheers, i agree with you regarding the S3 kit. But bought a chrome S3 grill off NHN back in 2008 for peanuts And had an s-line bumper... So thought well i got the chrome and optic S3 grill i might aswell go for the better looking front end. So sold the chrome grill and s-line bumper together on ebay for £300
Plus in cardiff there only one other A3 with the S3 front bumper.

what ones you got as im on the point of deciding of going just for springs or the whole way and getting coilovers
I got some jamex coilovers mate. I was gonna go for springs but prefer coilovers as i can adjust the height and feel alot better than springs.
If you got the extra money coilovers win all day. If you dont want to spend too much than i'd go for springs, can always go coilovers further down the line.
thats what i was thinking as rather have the car set the way i want and as well there is the whole issue of the bounciness with the H&R's

Didn't realize that you had jamex coilovers on there. Yours is a sport right? Did it improve the ride? I am thinking if getting some of these over springs as they are getting very good reviews with mkiv and mkv golf owners, also 8L owners seem to like them too. @ the price there are on ebay seemed a lil too good to be true... but sounds like you think they are pretty sweet.

Agree much better on coilovers can adjust it to what height you want.
You could sell your springs etc and get some money back.

I know looks so much better without the plate on the front. Yeah jamex mate, I wasn't too sure on them till I took a ride in my mates s3 and mk5 golf. They both been running them for over a year with no problems. And had nothing put good comments. Ride is much better than the standard set up. Plus they come with two year guarantee. So can't complain about them Thanks Slade should look alot better with the brakes and lamin-x

If we can get there next year we will. No not lowered it yet but hope to next summer. Would love to do loads more to him but skint at the mo esp with Xmas close.

Ok so thought i'd update this thread with some photos of my White S3 Calipers, MY11 rear lights and i finally got round to fitting lamin-x to my foglights. Unfortunately my cards got clonned so waiting for the bank to sort this out and then hopefully over the next few weeks i should add/finish some mods. Snow only really got bad down here on friday and my Cupra R splitter has giving up so had to order a new one only £20 so not bothered and it last against 3 different occasion of snow since 2009. Excuse the poor photo were taken on my phone. As always all comments welcome cheers.

Looks good, but think the fogs looks better without the yellow tint Lamin-x, suites Jap 4x4 saloons and cossies better IMO.
Also are your wheels rep or OEM, the offest looks very low, stick some spacers on there and fill the arches out bro.

Alright mate they are not fitted yet. Wont be fitted till the new year now or hopefully if i get my money back soon i can buy Jordans brakes and i'll just sell these one.
Cheers..The yellow lamin-x is a bit marmite if im honest some people like it and some dont. I also have smoke lamin-x for the foglight but think that may be over kill. Only had the yellow lamin-x on for a week so at the moment im 50/50. The alloys are OEM bought off MadAlex back in 2008 when his S3 got delivered. I want spacers but i like the tucked in look on the rear and dont want to have to raise her. I 100% want spacers for the front mind as you said they need to fill the arches and sit out a bit more. Will look better once thats done, Thanks for the comments

Hows your brother getting on? Is he any better mate? Sorry im probably being dumb right about now but what you mean clippers? Next on the list is to finish my custom rear bumper and new custom back box done. Fitting new steering wheel, xenon headlights and new front seats :icon_thumright: and then a few suprises. Hopefully by my 21st the car will be done
