MY11 Rear Lights

Hi All,

I picked up both my MY11 rear lighst today and fitted, thouggt I would take some pics for those of you thinking of upgrading. Sorry pics are a bit pony as only own an iphone 3gs camera at mo!!

Theres def. a difference between the 2, the 2011 lights a much deeper red and on the side view the bit closest to the petrol cap looks almost smoked:yum:.

Dan whats the part numbers for both of them? i take it was a straight forward swap?

Dan think you should get hold of an s line rear spoiler:rockwoot:
 
distinct difference imho, on my list now along with other MY11 kit

Yeah there about £85 each, I got 10-15% off, cant remember now.

Nik, The swap is direct, so takes 5 minutes tops!

It does indeed look smoked. Oh man... Might have to add these to my list too...
 
Anyone fitted the 11 lights on a black a3? im still not sure weather to go for 09 or 11 lights:shrug: If you have please post pics of 11 lights of a black car:p

personally i think the MY11s will only look good on red cars. otherwise i'm an MY09 fan. i put MY09s on my Phantom3dr and they look the business. i think the MY11s will look a little too max power
 
i think i may have to invest in some of these after my holiday they would look the dogs bits on my car i think go nicely with my black/red theme

Mmmhhh, I'd go one further and say they would suit 'darker' shades, but if you have a theme goin on, red/ black, then this would also look ok. TBH, I think to make them look like they belong on the car, then you would need tints, rear roof spoiler....

Black car.... yep, seen them on syzygy (sp) S3 and they look ace. There are pics on here somewhere showing his S3.

Is that £85 including the discount??

I've just been given a price of £97 each for MY09 lights from my local Audi.

Are audi's part prices the same across all dealerships or do they vary??
 
gotta get some of these for mine.. thought about lamin x'ing the rears but i think this does it perfect...
 
Just ordered pair today (providing above number is correct LOL). The £85 is RRP plus vat so will be about £97 each. I used TPS as we have an account with them so get a discount.

they usually price match. mine went from £97 to £83 without even asking for proof i'd been offered it at that price.
 
Sorry to do stuff with your photos but just wanted to see a fitted side by side comparison, and your car is almost the same colour as mine.
I always questioned whether I really preferred the 09 rear lights to the old ones, or am I just following the crowd.
Looking at this now... i REALLY prefer them. :yes: :thumbsup:

They look go really well with the colour of the car:) But i still wont be buying them.
I'll be keeping my 09 ones ha

Just fitted my 11 lights after the rain stopped:eyebrows: pics didnt come out that well as i used my blackberry.
I got mine cheaper than you guys it seems:rock:
Think they look super esp. on black, dark blue and white cars! As Dan says the pics dont do the lights justice.
