BBS CH Replica's - where doyou guys recommend getting them from?

Hi Chaps,
as title suggests im after a set of BBS CH reps, ive got a good price from 'Reeva Wheels' on ebay has anyone used them?

im a little apprehencive about using them as they only have a mobile number as a contact number, no office line which i find a little off putting

all help greatly appreciated

Just to let you know Reeva Wheels are scumbags and if i ever see them they'll get smacked in their faces. Put it this way, i got wheels and tyres fine but they still owe me a set of lock nuts. I called them every couple of days with the usual replies of 'yeah we sent it out'. 2 weeks later still nothing received and the guy said he sent them out standard delivery so they've obviously gone walkies or these nobs haven't even sent them. He said he'll send them out recorded and i should get them next day. What happened? Still nothing! I gave it a week and still nothing! I tried calling both numbers which i used to call before but they are now dead. I've sent them a polite Ebay message where i didn't get a response. I got pee'd off and sent them another one a week later saying 'hellooooooooooooo??'. Then 3 days later i got a reply of 'hello'.

They were fine when i got my wheels and tyres but when it came to lock nuts god knows what happened. I will never recommend them to anyone. I'm just glad i got my wheels and tyres within the time they said and were perfect. DIdn't need lock nuts in the end anyways as i had to get special extended lock nuts for my spacers. But fact of the matter is, i still didn't get my stuff!!

hmmm, not filling me with confidence, you say the rims were good though?

I think you'll find that not many S3's are running BBS CH's on their cars, and if they did, it's usually the genuine article! Original ones are 8.5" wide in 18" form, reps are 8" wide, and the S3 arches deserve more width! :)
 
mine are 8.5's and reps i have the black with polished lip and in less than a year the lacquer has gone already but then you gt what you pay for
 
I dont think i would go with reps again the only thing that swayed me at the time was cost especially bbs wheels
 
how long do these knock off wheels last in terms of finish? would waxing them etc make the paint last longer and is it true that these knock off wheels all weigh more than the moon?
 
A year from now my wheels will be as mint as when i first bought them. They need cleaning regularly to keep any crap from getting stuck to it and then protected with a good wheel sealant and i'll be fine.

Mine are 8x18's with 35mm offset. I have hubcentric 20mm spacers on the rear and hubcentric 15mm on the front. The stance is so much better now! I got them with 215/40 Falken 452 tyres. Yes i got 215/40 for a nice little stretch. Please don't argue now about wider track tyres because i don't thrash my car about like that so it doesn't bother me lol :)
 
I've personally not had any problems with replica wheels, but I'm talking about RS4/RS6/Nuvolari replicas, not BBS ones. The quality of the finishes vary quite a lot, but my local alloy shop seems to only buy decent finished products.
 
if the reps are italian made they are spot on...if chinese you can have problems

i was going to get them from my local car tuning specialist as i used to work there so got good discount, problem is they have no stock and no new stock date!!! ******!

so was looking at alternatives, the reeva wheels guys seem to have good quality reps and good stock of them too
 
i was looking at these, and you can get genuine ones quite cheap if you buy them individually, when I say cheap i mean around £800. Buts its obviously hastle x 4
 
My wheels from Reeva are spot on but i wouldn't go to them if i were you. Fak knows where they've dissapeared to and where they've got this stupid attitude from as i mentioned above. It's like they've gone mental in the head all of a sudden!

They came with red carbon fibre BBS centre caps too which was brill! Tyres already came on the wheels all balanced ready to go on the car. It's a shame really because that part of the service was great untill they started cocking around with my lock nuts and transformed themselves into weirdo's.

Chris - They're 8x18's with 20mm spacers on the rear and 15mm spacers on the front.
 
I bought mine (lm's) from www. merseyspeed.co.uk. they gave me the option of powder coated lip which is diamond tuff and i have had no problem's.

Wheels are in Hyper Silver colour. Size is 8x18's ET35. 20mm spacers on rear and 15mm spacers on front. Falken 452 tyres - 215/40/18.

So far i have to agree. i ordered my ch reps and they were promised to be here before the weekend. i called on friday to ask for a tracking number and got the reply i will call you back in 15 mins. no reply so i called again, still the same answer. i just hope they turn up on monday or i will not be happy! not impressed with the service so far. :(
