    Whats peoples opinions on Avon ZZ1's?

    When they knock on the door I normaly tell them to bugger off....

    But if your on about tyres then dont really know just saw the opportunity for a sarcastic comment lol /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

    had them on my golf - pretty good. Depending on if they'd changed the design, but they used to have a nice thick rubber rim protector.

    Nice pattern too.

    Avon are well respected in motorsport and particularly mototr bikes.

    Kewl! Thanks, Looks like those it is then! The price difference between hem and the toyos is a bit too much so thought they were a good second choice.

    Rich...they are verging on bloody awful!

    Wet weather grip isn't good, dry weather grip isn't bad but there's no real bite at the limit...they last well (not surprising...they must be hard as nails) and they have an excellent rim protector...but if you intend to drive your car hard I'd suggest you find the extra cash and fit better.

    I'll be removing mine and fitting Toyos as I just can't cope with their mediorce performance any ponger.

    zz3's are excellent , from what i can remember ! Theyre on my summer wheels , which havent seen the light of day since october :-( ! Back on in april though! yey !

    Hmm.. think i'll spend the extra £100 and get the toyos then. Will leavwe the sports cat for a couple of months /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crazy.gif!

    Just compared them to the RE040s that i currently have... DEFINATELY not going for them.. even worse grip in the dry apparently! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crazy.gif

    Definately Toyos it is!
