Yahoo email problems

Hi all,

is anyone else having problems with there yahoo email. it maybe Yahoo messenger related.

ever since i downloaded the latest messenger my email wont open and says its trying to download a file(http address of my email)

i have posted this before but now my dads computer wont allow him into his yahoo email on his own computer. he logs in and either does what mine does or appears as squares and triangles

weird thing is i can open it on my work laptop.

no viruses on either comp, checked with norton, ad-aware, AVG, Spybot etc

anyone else having problems?

page works ok for me, but i'm not using messenger

A connection timed out message usually means that there is a problem with the routing of the packets.
In other words, there is a break in the internet somewhere between you and the mail server.

Do you have a firewall on your computer/s?

It may be that installing a new version of messenger has changed the settings thus causing the firewall to block the product.
