www.superchips.co.uk - worth £300 quid or not?

    is it worth paying these guys 300 quid to superchip my Audi A4 car (a repgroaram of the ECU) - can the same results be acheived with a vag\laptop

    its a 1.8

    Definatley worth the money. Mine is superchipped and the performance over standard is superb. You would not be able to achieve the same results using VAG-COM.

    Is it a 1.8 or a 1.8T?

    its a 1998 (R Reg - UK) 1.8SE
    LOL!

    Is it NOT worth doing on a non turbo model?

    It will make a difference but not as much as if it was 1.8T, probably 10bhp, it would be 30bhp on a Turbo. Mine was done by Upsolute but is a 1.8T.

    dont do it m8, chipping a non turbo car is like [censored] in to the wind.
    i chipped my old corsa sri 16v and noticed nothing at all

    Ah my mistake thought you had a 1.8T !! Didnt even realise they did a chip for the non turbo version.

    Upsolute do one but £300-£400 for 10bhp is too expensive...
