Looks bit long for the S3 mate, need to measure as the Forge one is narrowed but wider top to bottom.

The A3 and S3 inlet manifolds are the opposite way round. Standing in front of the car the A3 inlet is on the left and the S3 is on the right. You maybe able to make it fit though. Sorry can't help with whats behond the bumper as I haven't taken mine off.

Sorry I must have misread, you might be able to make it fit as it says A3 aswell, apologies didnt see that even if it is right in front of my nose, lol, but as he says reversed but you might be able to do it anyway.

There is the big crash bar & of course the Rad but as its narrow it might be ok at the bottom, you need to do some measuring fella, here's the forge images so u can see what I mean:

Nothings impossible fella, give it a go cause thats cheap for sure & its gotta be better than current ones as it would fit nicely behind the bottom centre trim of the bumper with lots of air there.

That FMIC looks a tad small to me. Doesn't look any bigger than the two standard SMICs put together. You'd probably have to keep at least one of the SMICs for the FMIC to have any difference.

**Note - All this is my own opinion, and as I've not fitted an FMIC before may be complete twaddle!! :) **

Yeah but the difference is it is one big surface area not 2 smaller ones so it would be effective, its just a case of where you fit it so it gets the max air over it, as the S3 has the centre bottom trim/grill that allows air in this would be ideal spot & under the crash bar aswell so no obstructions of any kind to the fmic, where as the forge one has to be bigger as its blocked partially by the crash bar, so difference in overall surface area that will get air flow would probably be the same, no guarantees but theoretically it would, but subject to measuring of course.

Cheers for the input though.
