Hi, Just had my S3 in for a 10K service and Haldex Oil change at an audi specialist in the West Mids. Was originally quoted 98 inc v.a.t. for the service and 65 inc v.a.t. for the haldex oil. When I went to pick it up they said they had seen evidence of swalf in the haldex oil / filter and so had also changed the filter. However, the cost went up to a whopping 147 for the haldex oil and filter, the explanation being extra labour to replace the filter. I am now worried about 3 things; (a) the swalf in the oil / filter and implications of this (b) that I have been ripped off (c) whether they have used the right engine oil as the receipt only says 15/40 engine oil. Can anybody reassure me?? Thanks a lot, B.
