Wobbly rear wheel (A4 Avant)

Hi all.

The rear of the car was making a rotational scraping noise, lifted it up on a trolley jack and the passenger side rear wheel with brake disc wobbles if I shimmy the wheel side to side (wheel bolts are tight).

I left the handbrake off so was able to rotate the wheel and it sounded pretty ropey, clicking and scratching.

Any ideas? I am assuming at this point wheel bearing?

Sounds like wheel bearing failure to me.

Would say the same wheel bearing has collapsed and needs replacing quickly.

Thanks for the advice all.

Bearing/hub replaced today and the car is now awesome once more
