Hi everyone, new here, so tell me if posting in the wrong section, thanks.
This day last week, I bought a 2005 B6 Audi A4, the car was driving perfectly but the drivers speaker was not working, but this did not stop me buying it.
During the week I had a look at the wiring from the drivers door to the car, there were two wires broke and another two or three were frayed.
I closed the rubber boot back up, and then noticed that I had no controls on my drivers door or front passenger door. I presumed fuses but all are OK.
Things have been getting worse since, and now I have lost my AC, ABS and traction control also. Does anybody have any idea what's going on?
Thanks!

I think you already know the answer, repair or replace the broken/corroded wires. You can buy the door looms separately!

Will replacing the door loom sort out my problems with the ABS and ESP though? If so, I will replace it this week!

The door loom would have nothing to do with the brake system

Could the earth in the door loom shorting be the cause?
