I thought I'd update this. I just realised that I was looking at the wrong diagrams in Elsawin when I worked out the above spreadsheet. The CEM pin assignments would have been correct if my car had the 8P0 907 279 CEM. However I figured that my car actually have the 8P0 907 063 A module with the 3x 52-pin connectors. I've added the corrected spreadsheet to the following thread as it will be more appropriate to be there:

    http://www.audi-sport.net/vb/a3-s3-...010-wireing-2010-cemc-module-please-help.html

    Sorry about the confusion.

Hi just replying to this and my 1st time on hear or any forum.
I have a 2006 2.0 TFSI 225 S-Line full spec. I have changed the front to the 2011 S3 Look, My problem is with the lights as mentioned.
I bought some of them Kufatec adapters that I think are cr4p and a waste of money, what a squeeze getting them in and only the indicators are working. I have replied to this as my plan is to bin the adapters and rearrange the pins to match doing the job this adapter supposedly does and have the space back so you can get to the bulbs. Does anyone have pictures of the plugs ie what colour does what on the headlamps. Thanks

sounds like you ordered the wrong adapters... There are 3 types... One for the 2004-2008 cars, one for 2008-2009 cars and the last one for 2010+
as your car is originally a 2006 you should have got the first adapter (2004-2008)

as for space when fitting them its easiest done when the headlights are off the car. I have done loads of these installs now and not had an issue with the cables

Could someone link me to the adapter required for a MY2009 car (halogen to bi-xenon)? Or even make me one if they have the time/resources.
