Wipers broke?

Basically i was driving back from Hull the other day and my wipers were on full power and all of a sudden stopped half way. I tried flicking the stalk up and down but nothing. I can flick the stalk while pushing the wipers down to make them flick down but if i flick it again they will get stuck half way again. Any suggestions?

if you are getting some movement while messing with the stalk I'd say it was the stalk. If it was the motor, linkage or relay then you wouldn't get anything at all.

Ive retrofitted OEM xenon headlights but it won't be them.

Hmm I'll give the car a scan later see if anything gets thrown up.

Do the A3's have wiper linkage problems like the A4's?

Had to replace my wiper linkage last week, the drivers side pivot had completely seized, luckily caught it in time and didn't burn the motor out,

Audi want £235 + vat all in, I did it myself for £40.00

The wiper motor is fudged!!!! Got told by the garage today it will be £280 fitted for a new one.


Ive just ordered one from TPS at around £150 and i will be fitting it tomorrow.

Can anyone help me with the removal of it? How do i remove the scuttle tray with the glue on the window?

You noob, I'll be there to hold your hand scuttle tray wont be attached as the garage will have had it off.
