Winter Wheels and Tyres - S3

Hi all

Ive left this a bit late, I was planning to get another set of wheels a couple of months ago but ran out of time.

Ive standard 18 inch wheels on my S3 and want to get a set of 17s to fit with winter tyres.

Audi recommend 205 17 50 s but Id be happy with 225 17 45s.

[h=2]8P0601025C - any one know if these would fit the S3? They are 7.5x17, ET56[/h]
Will all 17 inch A3 / A4 wheels fit?

std 17" sport wheels come with 225/45/17 as far as I know.

Ive 235/45/17s on mine lol.

I'm using 225/45 17 winter tyres on standard Mk2 TT 8" wide wheels.
Sticker in the door well gives info on pressures for this tyre size.

Ive 2 x 235s - as I had them from last year. they were going on somehow

225/45/17 on the fronts.

Thanks so mk TT wheels work as well.

Any thoughts on the ET56 off set on the wheels I mentioned? The standard offset for the S3 (according to the blurb is between 43-50) the ET56 would technically move the wheel out 12mm nearer the arches.

mmm Im thinking it might be easier to get 18 inch wheels that I know will fit like from a TT... will the A4 s-line wheels work as well?
