Winter tyres

Hey,

i have recently fitted some S3 calipers to my car and wondering if my 16 inch steel wheels will fit over the calipers if not what's the best solution?

NO you would need to run 18s. I have heard some 17s work but haven't seen it up front to confirm

17 inch wheels do work.

I believe all OE 8P 17's fit.
The V6 came with 17's and it has the same brakes.
Stick some Michelin Alpins on them, brilliant tyres!

Sorry for jumping the thread but has anyone any ideas of the size of the tyre the 17's would need to run ? as this is also a subject i was thinking to ask about

225/45/17, it's what I was running for 2 years before I went to 19s

17s will fit, but they'll need to be wide enough to clear the calipers too.
