Just been checking my wing mirror indicator lights, and have noticed that, when viewed from the front, I can see a strip of lights near the door end, and a few at the outer edge. When I view from the side, I can see the compete strip of lights. This is the same on both the near side and offside mirrors.

Is this correct, as I thought the complete strip of lights should be visible from whatever angle you look at them?

By design tbh, as the front should be viewed mostly by the front headlight system & mirror led for side view, always been this way on most modern day mirror indicator systems on audi's I've worked on.
