Hi Guys,

So a week or two ago some *undesirable person* decided my passenger side wing mirror was a football and decided to kick the backside off it until it broke.

Now unfortunately it smashed the plinth that holds the mirror onto the housing (thats attaches to the door), meaning I have had to buy a complete mirror off the 'bay.

My question is, in order to fit the new mirror, is it simply a case of remove door card, disconnect mirror wiring, remove 1 screw and remove old housing then fitting is the reverse of removal?

Or is there something else I need to be aware of?

Car is a 1999 Audi S3.

Thanks!

Hi dude, iv got some good news, no need to take the whole door card off, just undo the screw on the door card and pull the top by the mirror and remove the littl black piece of plastic which will reveal the(i think 2 alankey bolts and connector) hope that helps, its a straight forward job.
