Window problem.

My passenger front window has stopped working off it's switch, & no illumination either. Still works off the drivers master switch so I'm guessing I've either got a dead switch or more likely a broken cable somewhere.
Any suggestions as to where to start looking?

Sounds like a switch to me, remove the door card & check for any wire issues.

Usual places for door issues are the rubber hinge boots, but as the motor works via drivers, its unlikely here as its getting a signal through the door to turn on/off, so I'd say local to that door area.

However check in the rubber boot for any corrosion/broken wires, takes 1 minute to do this.

Is there a trick for getting the rubber boots back on again? Started to take the passenger one off the other day, but it looked like I may have fun & games getting it back on so stopped.
