My passenger window is really struggling going up but it goes down fine. I've had the door card off and and had a quick look but can't see anything obviously wrong. I wd40'd the runners but it's s struggling. Any ideas ?
It's a common fault unfortunately. To resolve it you really need to replace both clips in the frame, even if there doesn't really appear to be anything wrong with them. The stock clips are brittle and rubbish.
But yes, you do have to take the window out. You have to take the entire frame off the door. It's not a bad job at all, just make sure you look at where the frame sits otherwise your door won't seal properly afterwards. I managed to do it and I'm useless.
