Will this adapter work?

hi, need some help on this.

Ive got a 2003/05 53 plate a4 b6,with concert stereo,with rear bose/sub in boot. so ive been told.also called non bose and rear amplified only.

As you can see im a little confused on getting the right adapter.

Are they right,and will my boot sub still work ok?

Also seen alot of threads about a wire being installed so it switches off when keys removed like factory?

I found that the best way to see exactly what you have is to take the stereo out and see what connectors you have. Take photos and post here.

Yeah, it's not that simple to upgrade Audi Head Units. It might be worth speaking to @Paul_TDi , who went through similar pain recently. He might be able to help with the adaptor and ignition wiring - I think he might be running a similar year A4 to you and did a write-up on his switched power exploits a month or so back in the A4 section.
