Been offered some nice rims for my 2006 A3 Sline:

    5 x 112
    et42 front 8x18
    et44 rear 9x18

Will these be ok on my A3? Its not lowered yet, but will be on some eibachs IF these will be ok?

Yeh those offsets are fine! Not sure about 9 rear, but should be okay due to higher offset! Only one way to find out!

My opinion not good enough! :sob: Do you know what tyre the rear would be wearing? My rims I've bought are 19"x8 and they'll be on a 235/35/19. I'm just not sure about the 9" rear because I don't know of any1 else whos putt that size on that back!

TBH, I think you would have rubbing issues with those especially the rear, I had issues with ET45, 8"x19" rims and 235 tyres. IMO you'd have to really stretch some narrower tyres on them to clear

You'll get rubbing issues with those rears. 42mm with a width of 8" is about as wild as you can go. Even though the rears are a 45mm offset an extra inch will add another 12.5mm so they will rub.

Nope they wont go on. The old A3 had a PCD of 5x110 the new one is 5x112 so they wont even go on. Plus you need an offset of 42mm or more to prevent rubbing issues at the rear!
