Will someone please read this link about an a4 AUTO startup

This is exactly how mine is, i have had a new starter fitted, but reading through the link it doesnt say what the problem was. Even though the guy said he had cured it.
Does anyone here have any idea how the guy cured it.

Not sure if thats right Bez, the guy said "I have put the reconditioned starter motor back in and the problem is still there"
The mechanic made another reply then the guy said he had sorted it but doesnt say what the problem was or how he cured it

Ive had a new starter in mine and the noise is still there on startup, but it doesnt do it everytime

From my reading I thought after the recon he fitted a new starter but it's not very clear.

It isnt very clear i agree, after more searching i think its my DMF. Its fine on startup from cold but once the engine is warm, then started the shudder and clatter is there.
