Will A4 B5 seats fit in a B6?

    So many good B6's knocking about but without leather... would it be possible to swap the seats over?

    on a similar subject do you know if the front cushions? (the bit you sit on) are handed

    would it be easy to swap them ??

    my drivers one is looking a bit sorry after 120k

    Only in respect of the height adjustment & slider controls underneath. Don't know if these can be separated from the actual seat.
    It's so annoying that they don't make front seats interchangeable left to right. I saw on 5th gear/top gear there was one car they reviewed (the new Panda IIRC), where the front seats were identical and this saves the manufacturer money as they only have to tool up for one seat type. Ironically it was exactly the sort of car no one is going to sit in long enough to generate any wear & tear nevermind actually caring what state the drivers seat is in.

    just had a look to remind myself and the height/sliders are opposite

    hopefully I'll be just be able to pickle the foam and leather off ?????

    but that sounds too easy doesn't it /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif
