I love all the spelling an grammatical errors they make! Slightly off topic but a mate of mine bought some cigarettes that where obvious ripoffs, they were Superkings and on the side was the Imperial Tobbaco name and address, but they had managed to spell Nottingham wrong! Oooops...

You can bet that out of the thousands they send out one mug responds to it.

    That's all it takes.

I had a very good paypal one emailed to me once, it was actually very convincing.

Bank's never send out that sort of email, if you hover over the links they normally go elsewhere and you can see the address when you hover over them.

Why? Cuz even if they send out a million emails and 99% of people are smart enough to delete them, they've still harvested 10k bank accounts...

And that 99% is being VERY generous to the internet community indeed ;)

its not just filling in your details, they can also infect your pc with a trojan and then see exactly what sites your visiting and what all you your key presses are, just by clicking on the link.

yeah i get these regulary from barclays and halifax and i bank with the abbey? always have!

i used to do the same as marmite and fill them in with **** and swearing, but some of these messages can harbour those keylogger things in so unless you have good internet security, you could be doing yourself no favours!
