Had a search couldn't find anything.

Has anyone fitted one. I was thinking of the Bailey one that has the fitting kit to stop the car fecking up. Just to see if anyone has one, and if its worth doing?:ermm:

I have one too but noise depends on the amount of boost.

Do you deffo mean boot as in how hard your driving the car at the time.

Or did you mena boost. i.e. if the cars is chipped it will run higher boost thus be louder?

billybravo - did you have it before your car was re-mapped? If so did it sound ok?

Also, do you find your cars run ok with a release to atmosphere dump valve?
Its always been my understanding that on audi's which use a DV, where the charged air gets routed back into the intake system, should only use the divertor type. If you use a vent to atmosphere one, the engine will run rich as the ecu puts the fuel in as it expects the charged air to be routed back into the system

Olly k -"the ecu puts the fuel in as it expects the charged air to be routed back into the system"

Would the lamda probes in the zorst not take car of this?

As far as I think if you put an atmospheric valve on, on its own then i think they can cause some sort of problems.

The kit Bailey do, again, i think still re-routes some preasue back through and purges the rest out the valve. Can anyone clarify this?

Also can anyone answer my question about the way my boost gauage displays if it is correct or not?

i didnt mate i got the remap first

Baileys do put some preasue back into the intake im told but am unsure of this

ive had no probs with my car and my car isnt any slower. it sounds great even more so now ive got the carbon filter a big dump and a little chatter from the wastegate :)

if you want one go for it mate just keep your old one just incase you dont like the sound.

    but im sure you will
