ivgot white smoke on start up just wondering i this could be because the penny valve has almost had it on the turbo. i no it onits way out but iv just been lazy and aint got a new 1 yet.

White smoke is almost a sure indicator the turbo is dead.

White is water. Black is oil ( turbo )
Its not your turbo

burning oil can often look white, but i think its probably just condensation.

Is it only when FIRST started in the mornings or every time its started ?

diesel or petrol ?

If its just steam vapour then its normal, if its solid white smoke then we are talking either you have over filled the oil or more likely the turbo. Also check the oil that its not gone creamy as this could mean another issue.
