When I take my foot if he accelerator on the run down he rear dif starts whining soon as I put it back on the gas it stops. Any advice or help much appreciated. Where can I get a reconditioned rear diff or is it possible to get my dif repaired.

HI,
i had same problem, found out the left back tyre was not on the same pressure as the right one, fixed that and the whine is almost gone, but not completely, i also changed oils in diff and haldex, but the little whine is still there.

After doing all of the above and some more investigation I find out that it was the rear diff if you buy brad new I got quoted from the parts on here £3700 managed after a lot of research and emailing and believe it or not arguing with breakers who KNOW IT ALL #notheydont. I manage to get a pre owned rear dif minus the Haldex for £450. I will fit and let everyone know how it goes.
