I need your advice please?
I've currently got an A8 D3 3.tdi quattro sport as I used to do a 60mile per day commute and worked 6 days per week. I now work 3 days per week and get the train to work, the station being 4km from my house. I'm now self-employed and will be looking to get a business lease deal after I've been trading for a year. So I'm looking to sell my A8 and get a petrol avant model instead. I need the boot space for my other business too.
Budget of £5000 to £7500 - Would prefer quattro if possible. I want something with decent mpg but also some poke. I've become a little addicted to torque with the A8! I also want something that won't lose much cash over the next 12 months or bite my arm off with maintenance bills. Here's my shortlist - What are people's thoughts on these models please? :
A4 B7 2.0T Spec ed Avant
A4 B7 1.8T S-line Avant
S4 B6 avant
S4 B7 Avant - (higher mileage on this budget!)
A6 C6 2.0T / 3.2 / 4.2 quattro Avant
