Hi. I have a B7 A4 with a Symphony II (6cd changer & tape deck) installed. I'm about to receive delivery of a 2011 RNS-E (which I understand is an A3 unit with a faceplate). Which adapter or harness do I need to complete the install? I intend to get OEM bluetooth fitted in a few months time, so is there a single adapter out there, or do I need more than one? I do not have BOSE either, but I have a MFSW, and the RNS-E delivery will include a GPS antenna. Oh, and I also have VCDS.

Thanks

To update this thread, I took delivery today of the unit. The sticker on the unit says part number 8P0 035 193 B and it looks like it has an A4 faceplate attached. The sticker also says RNSE-PU, manufacture 12/01/2011. It has chrome knobs, but it also has the CD/TV button, not the MEDIA button. Does this indicate I have a MK1 or MK2 (LED backlit)?

My understanding is that MK1 = black knobs, CD/TV button and MK2 = chrome knobs (not always though), MEDIA button

Anyone shed some more light?
