    hi guys

I've got a 1999 a6 4.2 quattro and have been told i need to top up my gearbox oil slightly.

I've got the right stuff and I'm good to go but I can't see where it goes!

could anyone tell me where i put the oil?

    cheers

i didnt think you could do it yourself!!

i thought you needed vagcom to get the box up to the correct tempereature before the oil can be added and then you need a special tool to put the oil in as its in an almost impossible place to reach on th top of the gearbox

well im sure this is what happens with the a4 so guess the a6 is the same
