wheels finishes opinions please

i was gonna get bbs cks but there just to expensive im getting rs4 reps coils and tints now all for near the same price but im getting the wheels powder coated these are the finishes im looking at for an lava grey sline all opinions would be great

matt black this is my first choice

this is gloss black not sure but extra protection with added clear layer

smoked chrome look ok

and antherite grey all help and views appreciated my car is an a3 lava grey sportback thanks guys also ive been quoted 195 for four wheels painted or 225 for smoked chrome does anyone no any other specialised that does wheels satin black matt black etc

I have always liked the smoked chrome. IMO looks the dogs

Smoke chrome or satin black - either will look the nuts on your lava grey

That the colours i was going to get my rs6 alloys done on my lava grey.

the company is called manchester wheels specialised its in openshaw on the trading estate.... i went down today it look alright im thinking to go for satin i just want opinions first to get a jist of what looks ok then im selling my original 18 rs6s with four continentals

He's moved to Liverpool Road, near Sainsburys.

If you go to his old shop just before deansgate, it will tell you where to go. (there's a sign there).

But Daves a top guy - All my family have used him for around 15 years!

you have changed your mind a million times on your wheels, lol. why not go for some quality bbs wheels and then save for the rest, if you ever decide to sell the wheels ull make gud money on the bbs,

if you go for rs4 reps from wheel base i would try the wheels for a few months first to check the quality then get refurbed it will cost you the same

just cos there so expensive and makes my car more of a target for stealing as there coming thru doors for em now in our area just the other day a woman was robbed at machete point on the next street by four men and about 10 houses have been broke in 2 for the keys in a month its really bad heres a funny one these lads broke in2 a house took the spare keys for an a4 sline they came back at night for the car but the police were lying in wait because the owner sussed his spares were missing after the break in ,,,,the police only didnt catch the theifs after lying in wait all day my misses is worried as hell over me getting bbs wheels and worried in general i looked out my bedroom window and seen three guys looking at my ride the other day i stared at them and they rode off i have no faith in the system its crap so are the sentances we need to start robbing these judges houses maybe theyle change there minds so after all that rambling on thats why im goin black 19 reps lower tints it will look great ...over a set of bbs

I used this company 2 months ago (Leeds branch) they remove the tyres and completely redo the entire alloy wheels, they do a superb job. Highly recommend them

Completely understand where your coming from - luckily im just in Manchester on weekends now but thats the reason i went for a pre-facelift S-Line as opposed to the facelift one. I couldnt justify spending £16k+ for it to be vandalised by the pri!cks that live round our way...My golf got keyed twice on my door step the tyres got sliced a few times as has the A3 but its weird - since i moved to Liverpool, not had 1 puncture lol

Ah well - My American Pit Bulls growing up now so all shoud be good in a few months lol. Like to see anyone even take a look into my car lol

As for quality, Dave Sheldons only sells the top notch stuff - he's never let me down or my family in the 15 or so years we've been using him..He can be a bit steep at times so do compare the prices with otehr places..

He had some rather nice used but mint Genuine R8s and S5s in 19s though but dont think they'll fit lol

hey kaz went down to sheldons before its on liverpool street not liverpool rd if your gona go but hes got rs4s in sating black you have to pay 200 to get em done but they look nice he also has the new s3 wheels and the s6 wheel that looks the dogs hes phoning me lata to see if he can get em in 19s all on them if so gone make my choice and satin black em heres another wheel thats nice to choices choices eh

Try Jem tyres too - 01204 571 428 - they're in Worsely (10-15mins from me, not far) and i think the guys called Andy. I got the tyres off him for my Golf.

Just ring them up and see what they got - they do refurbing too (or a shop behind them does) so ask them for a price to change colour! They quoted me fairly cheap to refurb my Tekno's on the Golf!

yeah i seen them there nice i was thinking of getting em the same guy is sellin ckii but only for bmw i was gutted .....im stuck over alloys but im coming to the thought of my lava grey sportback i got black optics grill black mesh next to spots black cupra lip im thinking satin black rs4s lowered tints gonna look the dogs

id ideally like these black chrome they only sell em in the states though velocity
