i am waiting for all of the 'on the road' series on youtube i cant afford sky

The 'on the road' series was quite good fun, although their budget was a lot more than previous series.

Enjoyed the last one when they refurbed a Bentley!!

One of my favourite shows, and being a fan of Mike Brewer i was quiet pleased with myself when he patted me on the shoulder at the classic car show a couple of years back...sad but true that i am still regarding that as one of my all time best celebrity encounters.

ya the bentley was great again saw that on youtube sadly the quality was not that good wish i had sky but cant justify the cost

He was there last year too(2008) didn't get the chance to talk to him.
Though I did have a nice talk to Mark Evans a few years ago.

Thats the guy, he built a Cobra 1st, then a helicopter,then restored the e-type, an MG and a couple of bikes. A really nice guy, oh and his producer has the same classic car as me ( Lancia beta)

Definately and a different kind of car too, I managed to get to look into a 1920's Bugatti that they had valued at over 1.5 million!!

I quite enjoy Wheeler Dealers, and I think Ed China is great.

I think they should detail the exact amount of time that Ed spends doing the car up as well......as its usually the Labour which costs most when doing a car up !

I pay £21 per month for my Sky (I don't get movies or Sport)...for Sport I go round the local pub....
The fee charged by Sky is well worth it, particularly all the repeats and I reckon 20 minutes of adverts every hour - bargain that !

Or do like I do, and get a sky+ box off ebay, and watch everything after the event and zip through the adverts.

A sky1 show take <45minutes without the ads!!!

And the new series of '24' starts on 12th Jan...

Yes! I watched the 280SL one and really enjoyed it so I'm recording the 911 one tonight. Not bothered about the Esprit or Land Rover ones (and I'm running out of disk space!)
