    I have a B5 A4 1.8t sport (1996)

it has the ususal sport alloys 7J16 with a 45mm offset (as stamped on the wheel)

I thought these cars had a 35mm offset..

I am looking to buy some RS4 alloys but these have a 20mm offset....

    has anyone done this swap??

if so did you suffer from bump steer or wheel bearing problems or in fact any other handling problem

    thanks in advance

    no-one have any idea?

  4. yup as Andy said above- ET20 will not fit- If you look at a RS4 you will se the arches difference

Your only choice is the replica root, ET35 is the optimum offset for 18`s...
