Does anyone know of a good place around Edinburgh to get my wheels balanced? Somewhere that they will do the job properly first time. Any time I've had it done at Kwik Fit and the like invariably I've had to go back and get them to do it again.

I'm a fussy buggar and never let these tyre places remove/fit wheels to my cars, so, I've only ever handed wheels into Costco, Tyre place in Penicuik and National Tyres in Ratcliffe Terrace - though National Tyres do seem to have "nipped/grabbed" the outer face of all four wheels I handed in when buying a set of tyres via the AA! What do Audi charge, or is going there a step or two too far for a job like this? I've not had wheel balance issues for about 30 years!
I find the best place for me, is a local small place who likes his cars and motorcycles!
He does motorcycle wheels too, so very accurate and careful in what he does, it may be a one off, but I thnk in general if a tyre place is busy, there doing a good job.
I prefer small outfits to bigger main stream places.
