Hi

I am a bit of a nerd when it comes to cleaning cars. For example I use a paint brush (WITHOUT PAINT) to clean the nucks and crannys of the interior... Yes, yes, I know, very sad!!

However, I have tried a couple of exterior cleaning products (other that the old fashioned water and soap) and they seem to be much easier to use and much quicker! My favourite is Greeced Lightning but not sure if there are better ones or cheaper ones as GL is £15 a bottle off eBay so dread to know how much it would be in an actual shop.

On another note I use the same stuff for the interor (excluding the leather). Should I be using a specialist interior cleaning product? If so, what?

Thanks a lot guys (and gals).

I stand to be corrected but I think you will scratch your paint work with that stuff.

Thanks, I've been using it for about a year and not had a problem really but what else would you recomend or is it just water and soap?

Thanks

Detailing world is your friend lots of info and how to do things .

This is best placed in the detailing section buddy. Using brushes is not sad, I have about ten brushes for various parts of the car (interior, exterior, wheels).

Waterless wash is still a bit of a moot point in the world of detailing. If you're the kind of person that wants to get into all the nooks and crannies I'd suggest avoiding waterless until you've done some thorough research. As mentioned, get onto Detailing World and go from there. A whole new world of car cleaning awaits you.

Edit: I see you also have a post in the detailing section, ha!

There isn't a best waterless cleaner.......... they are all crap.
My cousins husband swears by it, says look at the lovely shine. But apparently is blind to the fact that it looks like Torvill and Dean have been skating all over his Merc

Come on use you common sense, how the hell can you spray a liquid on dirt and grime, then rub it round and round and it not scratch your paint work?
