Joint or Drive Shaft? after replacing the right side outer CV joint yesterday I'm getting a clunking from my left side i whip the wheel off and realized there is a small amount of play between the inner joint and shaft, so my question is what would go the spline on either shaft or joint....or the inner part of the joint where all the bearings sit in grooves? i'm not too sure what would be Harder? engineers??
 
normally the joint goes, I got one next day off audi full kit £120 ish. but someone has had luck with GSF just make sure they supply the one with a bolt in the end and its big enough. The one they supplied me was the right design but too small ie diameter.
