What tyre size...?

    ...should 17" alloys have on them for the A3?

    Looking at some atm but they got 205/40/17s on...?

    Is that right?

    Reason I ask is because the wheels im looking at buying are:

    Tyres - Falcon ZIEX ZE 512 205/40 17 84W.

    Wheels - 7j 17 , the PCD is 5x100 , centrebore 73.06 with spiggot rings reducing to 57.1. Offset ET35​

    Now this is all foreign to me so i have no idea what it means...?

    From the pics it looks like the tyres might be a bit too narrow for the rims? Is this tyre size ok?

    I have 225/45/17 on my A3 I have these sets:

    TT 6 spoke alloys and the S3 Avus ones.

    I dont know what your comment means mate - sorry.

    I just need to know if these tyres sound too narrow for the rims?

    they should fit. I think I deleted the rest before posting (page was taking too long to load)

    mine are 7.5j

    I don't think tehse are of importance here: PCD is 5x100 , centrebore 73.06 with spiggot rings reducing to 57.1. Offset ET35

    it's only the width of your wheel that counts imo

    Yer thats cools. What about the tyres then being 205 - is that an ok size to have?

    205s will be fine on that rim, nothing to worry about mate.
