What to look out for when buying a 1.9tdi?

going to view a 04 plate 1.9tdi, what should i look out for when buying a diesel audi?

dont do it... 1.9s are slower and generally more noisy than the 2.0... there isnt much difference in insurance between the 1.9 and 2.0 TDI...

LOL guys, im being serious as I cant get insured on the 2.0 tdi since im 18

ok well i dont know of any common faults on the 1.9 apart from it being slow and noisy...
in general look out for specs like 'has it got a DIS? Cruise control? arm rest? auto lights and wipers?' that kind of thing.

but i would seriously suggest you get a 2.0 TDI... i cannot see why insurance would be a problem as they are like an insurance group 11 or something

Ok will do, oh trust me ive tried to get insured on a 2.0 but my insurance refused as they say its a high performance car :S
