    Hi All,

Done a bit of searching and found various bits of info...

basically I have a Concert II stereo... pretty bog standard....Single CD Player...Radio and Radio info pipes through to the DIS....

I would like to upgrade it but not spend thousands.... (IE can't really afford a double din dash conversion for nice standard sat nav!)

    but keep it all standard...

From what I have read its possible to get a Denison add on for the back of the stereo that adds MP3 functionality via USB stick?

Is that all that's possible keeping things standard?

    Cheers

    Rich

I've just fitted a sound links box which is similar to the Denison, which allows me to use my iPhone through the stereo. I am extremely pleased with it, I was using a Belkin FM transmitter which was good but the sound quality is sooooo much better through the sound links.
Only took about 10 minutes to fit, pretty much plug and play.

i looked at the Dension Gateway 100 which is similar item to the Sound Links and it was £198. I am sure the Dension item is better quality but for the money (over £100 cheaper) the sound links will do for me. You can spend up to £500 on the Dension stuff.
Here is a web address to my closest Dension retailer http://www.audiretrofit.com.

I fitted the xcarlink to mine. Again took about 10 mins. An all controls are through stereo/steering wheel.

No info of DIS beside track numbers again

Looks like Xlink is best option for ease...

Can I ask if you routed the Xlink into the glove box? Where have you put the box for the xlink?

I also like the idea of the Xlink with Bluetooth too, so I can make and receive calls.

In terms of Dension - from what I can see, if I want the phone module, you can only have that if you have the Phone button on your steering wheel!
