I must admit though one of the older M3's (not sure what version) that is actually better than the new M3, it is pretty impressive at mpg, hits like 35 + on a run and not hanging about to much, just letting off all the time at the right moment, and a lighter foot on accelerationslightly off topic, but this debate made me think of the top gear episode where they did a "scientific" test of a toyota prius vs a new BMW M3!... they demonstrated that a 4L highly tuned, high performance vehicle could deliver better fuel economy than one of the supposedly greenest vehicles while driven round the top gear track at the same speed!!
