Just bought a 2003 imported (imported in 2004) A4 Avant 1.8T Quattro Automatic.

I noticed on the revometer (sp) that it redlines at 6k? is this correct? or have i got the wrong dial?

Having read about looks like when it was imported the speed and tach cluster was changed to mph/english version, but a diesel on was put in instead for some reason???

Anyway, if i put a petrol cluster from ebay, is it a straight swap?

A diesel gauge won't red line at 6k.
