Hi all, the clutch has finally given up and now its time to spend money when i really dont have it.

I was wondering if you guys new the max power a standard OE Type clutch can take.....now mines not been re mapped yet but once its done ill be lucky to go from 180 to 230 bhp......im not going anymore so do you think the standard clutch could take it?

I really dont have the money for a uprated one?

    Thanks guys

If your not changing the turbo, then you wont see over 200hp.

Standard clutch will be fine if your keeping the stock turbo.

Regardless of how you do it, get a gearbox input shaft seal, and a rear crank oil seal, as its pretty common to pull the box off and find one or both leaking.

A happy (lying) dyno will see you over 200, but a decent reliable truthful one you'll probably not break the 200 mark. I think the most recent person to try was Rob, whose car had all the bolt ons like exhaust intercooler etc etc and make 198hp and simply wouldnt do any more.

Think his nick on here is Arrkon or something.

He had it mapped at RTech.
