What lube/grease to use on hinges/lock latches/lock strikers?

    I use a lube I get from work. Basically a better/thicker version of WD40. Best stuff I've ever used for penetrating dry joints.

    I have LM because I bought a pot for servicing the DV and it was HUGE /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

    LM is cool. White is just what the dealer uses as the grease doesn't need to be heat resistant.

    audi sell a spray grease which audi mechanics use on the door hinges and locks when servicing.
