I heard that when Audi did an offer saying "we'll paint your car any colour you like", one guy asked for Ferrari Red, and Audi honoured it, even though they had to pay Ferrari a huge license fee to use that colour.

Though it did cost a premium. Atleast special order colur costs of £1500+
