What is this in the picture? The black box with wires etc goin in? It keeps clicking should it click??? Cant ad picture... If u look at the engine bay just above the washer bottel there is a black bax type thing with wires and hoses going in any help?

i think this is the charcoal canister as i have now researched which i should have done before /: but thanks for the help anyway. could anyone tell me what is actually happening in there when it clicks and what its purpose is as i am curious... thanks sandra for putting that photo on (Y)

It captures fuel vapours and prevents them from entering the atmosphere by recycling them. That's what's happening when it clicks
