With being made redundant, I doubt I can afford to keep this.

Its an 2000 Audi A3 1.8 T sport. The very last of the pre-face lifts

The car was Cat D'd in late 2000. Why, I don't know. Its odd to write of a car that would of been worth £18k or so at the time.

Spec:
65K genuine miles
MOT 9mths
Tax 4mths
FWD
200bhp
Full heated grey leather interior
Bose stereo with 6 disc changer
Digital climate control
Only have a part service history, and non audi

Car has been excellently maintained and looked after during my ownership.

If you asked me to score the conditon of the car

Interior 8/10
Exterior 7/10

I'd say around the 4 - 4.5k mark, but with it being cat D it may be difficult to sell

Yeah thats the annoying thing with the Cat D

Thing is, it should never of been cat D'd

Have you ever heard of a 3mth old, £20k car being Cat D'd

My friend works in insurance, and it was to do with the fleet policy the car was under at the time, above a certain damage level and they just gave you a new one. The accident that cat D'd it was when somebody pulled out infront of it at a junction.. The damage was light damage to the offside wing, bumper, bonnet and door. Had the car structurally inspected when I bought it and the chassis showed no signs of accident damage. You can tell the bumper is a replacement and the bonnet has been repaired though on close inspection.

Still doesn't change the cat D though
