    I wondered that too. Thought it had a brick in it from the start. Guess it was just dead already though, hence why they were adding a brick?!

    Just got rid of my old washing machine too, should have killed it with a brick first! :laugh:

    I wish I could afford to bung a brick in my washing machine - that would be ace. You could get 2 and race them.....

    pretty sure most new washers have accelerometers in them for when clothes create a large out of balance, but am sure an old washer could be picked up cheap out of the free ads or summats to try this!
