Seems a bit spenny to me.... books at £7,110 plus it's overdue/missing an haldex oil and filter change, the dealer won't budge on price either....

for the current price on s3's it is probably overpriced by about a grand in my opinion. for £7k you should be able to pick up a low mileage s3 that has already had the cambelt change and haldex already!

keep shopping around, the right one will pop up sooner or later

Do you mean they go for even less than book? If so, dealers must off their rockers:jump:

not many cars fetch book mate.....another thing is dealers tend to buy cars in with CAP guide if they can....this guide will devalue it even further.

and yup you can see the scale of what i was saying now :D

Volkwizards are renowned(sp?) for selling cars at fix prices, although it's fair to say, they only keep the best cars in stock and sell it honestly as they see the car. Personally thinking, it's overpriced as most people have suggested above, but I'm sure a passer by will be tempted and pay them off.

Agree with Jo on this, the cars that Volkswizard normally get in are off a very high standard and their prices are normally fixed and for that exact reason, however, it doesnt justify the car being overpriced, but as the saying goes, its worth what someone will pay, and im sure there will be someone out there that will pay this without batting an eyelid.

its one of those, they will make their money from whatever they can, cars doesnt look like the only trade they are in..... although if you have 20 cars and sell them @ £500 profit, obviously you need to sell 4 to get £2k..... why not put £2k profit in all and hope you sell at least one

That's how they have always operated, it obviously works for them, they only keep a limited number of stock, and usually have a couple of mint standard Mk2 Golfs at silly prices, but like mint low mileage ones are getting rare, so they do have an audience for what they sell.
