    Awesome, nothing like a lungfull of lightly salted haddock with an oak and beech smoke background.

    One of my many fish themed t-shirts, think I should make it my avatar;

    I'm a manager at a firm of accountants based in Southend.

    I deal mostly with company accounts, corporation tax, statutory audits etc but courtesy of the 31 January filing deadline, I've spent the last month or so doing tax returns... Been qualified for just over 5 years now and been working in the profession since 2001.

    I am an engineering geologist, particularly oilfield or petroleum related geomechanics - primary objective being to minimize hole stability related problems that cause down time on drilling projects.

    Im still studying, started quite late in life, nearly half way through my degree at the mo. I have confidence il end up in oz working for anglocoal depending on the economy surrounding it. My best mate is a geologist and has worked for them for close to 2 years now, we studied together at college and he pursued it straight away whereas i took a 5 year break.
    Im glad im not the only one anyway, some of the lads on here take the piss for my love of rocks
