.6 bar std, from 11psi to 15 on a chip, depends on the rest of the tune, timing etc etc

well heres one for you all............. as far as ive bin aware my car bin at max 10psi but is this normal for example if under hard throttle 2nd gear peaks at 10 psi then rapid change to 3rd again peaks at 10 psi but how strange is this if i gently increase throttle and change to 3rd gear at about 25-30mph then foot to floor the boost gauge hits 10psi at about 3k revs but then suddenly increases to 16psi i pooed myself with the sudden increase of power ive bin used to 10psi. so my therory is if you allow turbo to spool up through whole rev range from eg 2k up then you would get more boost but if thrash the car and change to 3rd then you would be at high revs say 4k or above then the turbo hasnt had chance to full spool up has it so loss in psi?? is this correct or just rubbish
